Lovin’ it: Moped + Foursquare
The moped crew adds another feature to their rich messaging platform: Location. You can now easily drop a location + map into your moped message by simply adding the (+) sign — which will then trigger locations from Foursquare’s API. Although adding locations through map links was possible before, this is super slick. And Useful. Very useful. Especially for arranging meetings on the go.
Looks like moped is building itself up to become the essential tool for rich media messaging. Hot on the heels of their investment followed the integration of video and audio files directly into moped messages, then Instapaper, Chrome & Dropbox, now Foursquare. — Smart.
