“ The Walking Dead is really just an advancement of Peek-a-boo.
Glen Mazzara, showrunner of ‘The Walking Dead’, currently the most watched cable TV show of all time.

Here he explains why writing for a show is like a designing a game:
“When I’m making a show, every storyline has to open up more possibilities. The audience wants to play the game of ‘The Walking Dead’ and they want to know the rules to play out outcomes in their head. ‘Do zombies swim, do zombies poop (No, they don’t, they only have a brain telling them to eat…)’ — I think the Walking Dead is successful, because it is the most basic childish game that people play - it’s a game of chase, which is really just an advancement of peek-a-boo. So as a showrunner I’m like the dungeon master saying: Look out, I’m gonna get you.”
