SPACE ODDITY? — AIRBNB GOES BEYOND EARTH
Well, it is April 1 after-all, but then again - it’s Airbnb - so anything is possible when it comes to extraordinary places to stay. And according to the post that just went up on the Airbnb blog, after villas, treehouses, igloos, and giraffe manors you can now stay at Module 3 of the International Space Station, known as “Tranquility” - for €3,146 per night.
Classified as a 20ft2 / 2m2 loft, shared room with 0.5 bathrooms, it accommodates 6 ppl - and has a pull-out couch!
Well then - Ground Control to Major Brian - nice evolution from air mattresses to literally going up in the air.
